❄️ Please note I am away skiing from the 9th - 16th December and classes will not be running apart from my Friday class at the ashtanga yoga workshop which will be covered. ❄️

 

Monday and Thursday classes are drop in, there is no need to book. Vinyasa flow classes are energetic and aim to build strength, flexibility, improve stamina and create heat so a good level of fitness is recommended. 

Mats are provided at no additional charge. Payment details below. 

Payment options

90 minutes classes are £8 drop in or you can buy 6 classes for  £42 by purchasing a class pack making it just £7 a class. These classes can be used at any time and do not run out. You can buy a class pack by cash, cheque or BACS at the start of any class.


6 Week Beginners Yoga Course

Beginner Yoga Course

New to Yoga? This introduction yoga course is the perfect way to start your yoga practice in a relaxed,  supportive, small class setting. This 6 week introduction to yoga course will introduce you to the principles of Vinyasa flow yoga, a dynamic yoga style that links movement to breath. Also called flow yoga because of the smooth way the poses run together, creating a moving meditation.

The course is designed to give you a strong foundation of knowledge to give you the confidence to attend yoga classes or build a home practice.

What you will learn during the course:

  • - Intro to what is yoga
  • -Basic breathing techniques
  • - Warm up poses, including the sun salutations
  • - Basic standing postures to cultivate strength and balance
  • - Basic back bends to cultivate mobility in the spine and to awaken energy
  • - Sitting postures like forward bends for flexibility and to calm down
  • - Restorative ending poses for relaxation

What will you need?

Mats are provided free of charge, however, I recommend purchasing or bringing your own mat, as owning your own mat is extremely beneficial in motivating you to dedicate your self to the practice in between classes and after the course has finished!

There is plenty of free parking right outside the Steiner Academy, bonus!

What to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in.
